WORKPLACE FIRST AID
Workplace First Aid training lasts 16 hours and is valid for a period of 3 years. The training is accredited by the CNESSST and the only one recognized for companies.
The training prepares the rescuer to react appropriately in various life-threatening emergencies such as cardiopulmonary arrest, choking, allergic reaction, hemorrhages and various medical and traumatic emergencies.
The forest sector benefits from first aid training in the workplace with the allergic reaction module and the use of the epinephrine auto-injector (Epipen).
In addition, the “40-hour Forest First Aid” training as well as its annual skills maintenance program is available. In this training, more advanced concepts and taking into account the distance are practiced and mastered by the participants.

The first aid program in the workplace refers to additional training components concerning the administration of oxygen, the use of the mask bag or the interventions during an exposure to cyanide.
